Oh I will treasure it for many years to come. How should these be cared for? Can they be machine washed?

You also have the most beautiful hand writting! The note gets saved too.

My husband told me he had an anxiety dream last night where the backyard was full of cages with animals in them. He said that he thought the tiger was one too many... :rant:gig

I think I broke him when I bought my last chicken (Pepper)

Well, he has a point. That's 11 animals at our place not including the people on an average suburban lot. :hmm
We have 10 hens & 2 cats [not my fault there aren't more cats! ;)] & I keep telling the Lord when I get to heaven I want a cheetah. I just can't seem to talk John into one...

Yes, you should be able to chuck them in the washing machine on the gentle cycle. I think I said in the note if you want the blanket, but particularly the edging, to hold its shape better a little fabulon [spray on starch] & a steam iron should do the trick. You have one of the more complicated borders & I have a very tight tension so it tended to curl a little. Do NOT send to the dry cleaners! That will destroy the buttons.

Thank you on the handwriting. John complains it's illegible & I am no longer allowed to address his correspondence! :lau

If you haven't seen on my thread yet, I've got a broody. I'm looking for confirmation that it's too late in the year to let her hatch. I would love everyone's thoughts over on my thread. I have posted average temps. My head says to be smart. My heart says let's do it!

Sorry Bob. I really can't comment on this. I have no real idea how your winters work because here it would make no real difference @ all. :(
