Poor Alice and Edwina are desperate to lay their eggs but Tsuki keeps chasing them out of the nesting boxes. I almost stepped on one of Alice's eggs outside the coop the other day.

Today they finally decided to use one of the less desirable nesting boxes in the old rabbit hutch. Obviously 6 nesting boxes for 5 hens is not enough choice

Not in Tsuki's world. And it IS Tsuki's world. You should understand that by now.

I wish I could get a little of that action going. I put the ceramic eggs back in the nests yesterday to remind them. I hope they remember soon.

It's been weeks since I had any eggs. They don't even go into the nest boxes any more...

No, alligators definitely belong in your moat. I always wanted a small castle as a young girl... now I’ll settle for just the moat and a few alligators. I’m sure I’ll have to build a large greenhouse over it for them for the winter. Who says you can’t do aquaponics with more than just fish?

I had my colonoscopy done yesterday. The test went well. They found some inflammation and took a bunch of biopsies so now I wait for those results.

The past 3 years I've struggled with many things in my life. First was being diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. Since I have had my surgery, despite medication, I have gained over 50 pounds. I do not like what I see when I look in the mirror and no diet or exercise makes any real difference.

Rich is one of the few people I've had in my life that truly loves me for me no matter my size. He often tells me I'm beautiful, but I honestly don't feel it.

Last night we were sitting at the kitchen table and he took this picture of me when I let my hair down. It's not often that I share pictures of myself...
