Ribh's D'Coopage

Good evening folks :frow

I snuck into to coop the other night and got some chook snuggles in. Anna and Morgan came in with me and were so happy to hold their girls. I still can't get over how pretty and BIG Breeze is!

Morgan is holding Blu, her blue rock. Blu promptly fell asleep in her arms and did not want to go back on the roost.

Because it was a mainland day yesterday the girls are already out ~ & Tuppence & Ha'penny have already done their 1st fence hop of the day.
Tuppence & I have come a long, long way. :)

Meanwhile the psychotic one went to sleep with one paw draped over my arm [claws loosely hooked into my jacket] & his wet nose buried in the palm of my hand while purring up a storm. He hates me being gone for the whole day. He's a right mess when I go visit my mum for a week! :th

That’s my #1 reason for not having the laundry done nowadays. My fur babies insist on having one basket full to sleep in directly in front of the heater at all times. ;) They don’t care much if it’s clean or dirty, and luckily we don’t often have guests so our laundry being front and center in the living room isn’t an issue! :p Both baskets have just come in from getting washed, and it may be a while before I get my socks back from Bullet and Charlie, they take turns snoozing contentedly here.

Simply adorable :love

Do cats enjoy only clean laundry? Just wondering.

I have have always thought that clean laundry, folded is even better, was second only to catnip for my furry friends.

My cats aren’t so picky... they don’t discriminate between dirty and clean, but folded laundry is best knocked off the sofa while the humans are trying to get it put away... punishment for us taking it out of the basket I suppose! Charlie used to have a thing for hiding socks and underwear under the bed, he would pull it out of the basket and drag it to the very center of it so it was extremely hard to retrieve.

Now that is the best illustration of just one of the many reasons I wouldn't have a cat. There isn't much worse when it comes to washed clothing than it being covered in cat hair if you are allergic to it.:rant

I’m not allergic, thankfully, though I do try to keep a layer on the top of the basket to control how much of the clean clothinggets furred, particularly the darker colors, as my cats have apparent light under coats! I did date a highly allergic guy for a while, as in I had a separate set of clothes I kept at his place and would shower and change first thing every time I stayed there for dinner or such, or he would sneeze and sniffle and be itchy the whole time I was there. Clearly, that relationship was just not meant to be!

We are expecting 10 above average today ~ so our 1st really hot one of the season.

This is going to be fun watching it get warm out your way while the snow closes in here. The first flakes are in the forecast for next week.
Christmas is always fun with you lot. :D We swelter on the beaches with prawns & crab & you drown in a sea of white stuff!:lau
