Ribh's D'Coopage

Good morning :frow
We have 4 interviews tomorrow and :fl They hire at least 2 people so we can be fully staffed soon.
That's good news ~ I think? Hoping for the best possible outcome.:fl

I really wish the US would get it's act together as far as health care goes. Last year I was in between jobs and had no health insurance. At tax time I had to pay a $300 dollar "fine", they deducted it from my return, because I didn't have health insurance. It's absolutely ridiculous!

I currently have "good" insurance, however I still have to pay the initial $1500.00 every year and of course co-pays and prescription costs on top of it. It gets very frustrating when I add it all up.
How doees it work for people who can't afford it? Eg if someone is homeless and they need an mri, can they get one?

Our health care is really very good in Australia & we are very blessed. My man is on disability [broken back] & we get subsidised & after a certain point each year we don't pay for his medication. It has it's problems; need far outweighs availability of resources but all our main political parties endorse health care for every one of the country's citizens.
100% agree. It's a pretty good system. I'd prefer if it were better resourced in SA (3 deaths this year from ramped ambulances) but it's pretty good. Do they ramp ambulances in Qld ribh?
