Edited to add: we are watching a cyclone form off the Nor'east coast ~ hopefully it will bring some much needed rain & not too much destruction.

I do like that your run is such a mess.
So many people strip everything out of the runs, leaving a bare space like a prison yard.

Well, it was. As it dried up it shriveled & lost the colour. I dunno what to think. She's plump & healthy but laying the most extraordinary eggs. The colour appeared to be caused by blood & no idea what happened to the yolk...

I've driven my man mad. He's having to build around the trees & I snaveled a whole heap of logs meant for the fire, the sand for the paving & he's still trying to figure out how to roof the thing once it's built properly so my Campines stay in! And that's before I talk him into some outdoor roosts!
