Yeah. Something about those bags. She got right in the nearly empty one on the ground beside it but the mulch in that is wet. I didn't grab the camera fast enough. She didn't seem stressed by my filming but she hasn't laid there so I don't know if I need to look for another nest.

Celebrating rain. Renovating ~ which I always find hard.

Rain can be a very good thing and we renovated our house in VA before moving, so I agree that it can be hard.

I finally got out to the girls with some warm oats. Everyone is sodden. The coop is sodden. Even the sandpit is waterlogged. They aren't used to this! And the temperature has plummeted to 22C.​

I see that it's so cold you don't even have to wear socks!

I drove 8 hours in this yesterday for work.

I definately had socks on. I hate wearing socks.

And it's the first time I've been attentive to her voice. She makes very sweet noises

That's the chirping purr all my broodies make. It is very sweet I think.
