Ribh's D'Coopage

As there seem to be some cat lovers here. And it is really hard to get pictures of my chickens while the Chicken Palace is being built I thought I would introduce two of my cats that have a thing about porcelain fixtures. Falafel in the kitchen sink and Nightshade in the tub. They aren’t quite as happy if you run the water!View attachment 2014176View attachment 2014177

They are adorable!

That is one week trained flock you have there!

I do now have those image of the whole flock following you around town as you walk around a quaint seaside village. People waving and saying hello to you and each of the ladies. Asking them how their walk has been.
:gig
My neighbours used to enjoy the sight of me herding chooks with an old fishing rod. When I had them where I wanted them I'd spread a little corn around & sit in a chair reading while the girls grubbed out the weeds for me. :lau They did a pretty good job.

Thinking of you too. :hugs Sorry, it was a mad scramble to catch up and I was at work.
Thanks, Lozzy. Not really looking for sympathy; more to explain my absence. I know it can be worrying if online people just suddenly disappear. :hugs

The majority of it should be done by the end of Feb. After that the crabs kick off full on & we'll lose our work team.
Is the crabbing a job or just for fun Ribh?
I was sitting in the yard with the hens nearby when I played your video. His crow went straight to Mary and Sandy's hearts :loveMary made a facial expression and Sandy purred! Janet, I'm sorry to say, was unmoved. The pullets were oblivious.
It takes a bit of maturity to appreciate a good rooster.:p
