Hmmm, an interesting expression. I see a few who might fit this description in the nearest large town. I rather like the fact that they can walk around together holding hands etc without getting ostracized, or worse. It says something positive about the tolerance level.

I prefer Punch to look at. Notch was what might be described as a problem rooster when he was younger. He's still a pain in the arse with other roosters, but he and I get on well now.
 
Hinge. I had a look at her hawk war wounds under her wing a last night and while feathers are growing back she still has bare patches.
Otherwise she seems fir and healthy. She's laying eggs and is number three in the hierarchy and generally aggressive. It will be interesting to see what happens when Brackets chicks grow up.

I agree. It's way past time that we stopped trying to force people to conform. You do you and I'll worry about myself.

She looks like she's recovered well.
