I have hens who should be far more annoying but have endearing traits to compensate. If Suyin has them she is keeping them well hidden! :lau Just the same, she has her place in the flock & her sister is a truly wonderful hen. Comparisons are unfair but I would have a flock of Lunas if I could. She is so calm, so fair, so kind ~ in fact everything you could want from a middle order hen & she lays a good sized brown egg regularly & never goes broody on me!

Knock is a bit like that. She's just decided it would be a good idea to go broody again. As soon as I put her in the tribe coop this evening trouble broke out.:rolleyes:
I don't know how Notch puts up with her.

I feel bad because I don't really like her & I know she wants to be liked. :( She's quite nasty to pretty much everyone & that puts me off.

I've done the same because honestly, no~one in their right mind should want to keep Campines. They are trouble. When I analyse why I like them it comes down to personality: they are clowns; their behaviour is more interesting than their more conservative sisters; they tend to be quirky, as Medh has just proven. I'm going to be working my way through the whole flock to see if anyone else also likes getting their throat scratched. :D

I've been sick and my doctor has ordered me to self quarantine. I don't have COVID-19, but because I work in a doctor's office I have to stay home.

I just want things to go back to normal.
