Hi folks. The rain is raining. The cats refuse to go outside. The chickens are silent.
I had a *white night* & feel like something the ocean dredged up & dropped along the shoreline this morning. Trying to wrap my head around our council who are considering completely cutting us off from the mainland.

And people wonder how Hitler grabbed control of an entire country! It's easy~peasy when you have the right lever. Did any of you run into an interesting little book called The Wave? A High school teacher began a practical demonstration of how easy it was for Hitler to control an entire population. It got a little out of control but it's a lesson we shouldn't forget.

It was compulsory reading for my homeschoolers when we studied WWII. It has interesting parallels with our present situation.

Pretty much. My cynicism comes out in funny ways. I'm not a linear thinker so I draw some odd comparisons.

Lock is still not quite right. I'm going to worm her. I've looked her over for external parasites and she looks clean. There are no red mite in the coop and while she has a very small scaly leg mite problem it's not enough to account for her not looking the full ticket.
We've had ideal conditions for worms and coccidia unfortunately and while I don't like shoving chemicals down them I might just do tribe 1 and 3 this week.

Oh dear. I'm watching a couple of mine just now too. Not sure what's going on. Could just be their molt. Also considering worming.
