Ribh's D'Coopage

I've cooked for most of my life. My father sort of taught me and certainly encouraged me to do it. I can also sew and I used to be able to do basic knitting.
I didn't get into the take away lifestyle no matter what my work hours. I used to occasionally eat out but in general I found that the food wasn't much better than that I could cook myself.
The last time I ate out was about four years ago unless one counts the annual community suppers we have here and even then you have to take a dish with you.

So the pizzas that Fat Bird likes to dine on are home-made?

I bet there is some form of calculus that could do the counting for you. I was never any good at calculus. :(
Probably not ~ when I say challenged, I do mean challenged. Anything numerical is so abstract to me it makes no sense whatsoever. :( I find it hard to move beyond the stupidity of some math. I can remember getting stuck on the old bath tub problem...so much water in, so much out @ a certain rate etc ~ but no~one in their right mind tries to fill a bath tub without first putting the plug in!!! :gig I know. πŸ™„ I can get stuck on the strangest things. My family was horrified to find I was teaching youngest math. She's actually very good but I had her taught music ~ which uses the same sort of neurological pathways & I made sure her early math was very, very concret because she's scarily like me.

I do love this time of year!
The skies & water are just amazing!

The colours!
The rising mist!
I really, really am just awed by the beauty.

Yup. I can make pizza. I'm a fair cook if I'm honest but I hate cooking. I've cooked all my life. I was cooking when I was a teenager and even in those times I've been living with someone I cooked. In the last ten years I've cooked every day at least twice.:p

Know the feeling. We used to manage a hostel for homeless youth. 😣 It wasn't just the fact I was cooking [& teaching the kids to cook] for 20 or so teenagers with teenager appetites, it was all the food fetishes! πŸ™„ One lad made spaghetti bog with no onion, no garlic, no tomato, no carrot ~ nothing but mince because he didn't like anything else. :barnie Gross is an understatement.
