Ribh's D'Coopage

I will have a listen when I've next got sound rigged up on the PC.
No expectations, Shad. The sound quality is pretty awful actually because it was done on my old camera but it is about the only video I own of her singing.

Aoife.
Such a pretty, pretty girl ~ & totally demented.
Yesterday she flew on top of the big coop roof.
She did a circuit over the hillside.
She flew up on top of the bush house roof.
She got lost in the neighbour's shrubbery & I could hear her unhappy peeping as she tried to find her way home. I was rattling the food bin so she was pretty keen on getting there quickly.
She is a mad, mad woman.

I'm so busy atm that sorting out the numerous computer problems that need attending to just are not featuring in the priority list. I get creative rushes and that's when I make stuff.:D

I've spent so much of my life making or doing stuff that has to be right, or to some standard.
I've never considered myself at all artistic. My elder sister tells me I was when I was a kid but like much of the imagination one has as a child, life knocks it out unless you guard it well.
I've had a few people ask me to make or design things for them and they want something particular made to their imagination or concept. I tell them I can't do it these days and I mean can't, not won't. My house designs are an example. I do what I do and that's it.
Luckily some people like what I do but I could never make a living as a jobbing designer or artist.

I’m sure there’s some related viola jokes somewhere. ;)
No doubt! I'm told Sopranos get lazy. Singing the melody means they never really learn music the way everyone else has to & are poorer musicians for it. I'm not really musical. What I always enjoyed was the process. I've always preferred rehearsals to performances because I love seeing how someone brings their vision to execution. :) And there is a point in rehearsals when everything is brilliant that you never see in performances because performance always brings a certain amount of tension.

And that I get. Stuff I write, I write for me. Very, very few people get the allusions or sense of humour & I've not been interested in popularizing it. I do what I do & I do it to amuse me. End of.
