We have a big deck with a gazebo that I used to sit on and still do sometimes, but during the day its so hot and the mean bugs will not leave you alone

We have one of those Screened gazebos still in the box that I was hoping to put up on the biggest part of the deck, but I think its to big

A house chicken oh my goodness!!

how to get a house chicken... 101 (I’m sure @Shadrach can teach the more advanced levels )

Step 1: open door
Step 2: wait

Step 3: don’t chase them out

Step 4: (optional) don’t tell DH you’ve been leaving the door open and/or Text DH pics at work to let him see the trailer/house is being invaded by feathered fiends (Cass is being Naughty lately!)

as you can see... still not in the house but progress is being made and that’s a lot to do with how absent I’ve been lately! Sorry everyone... miss you all, and hope to be back online more soon with good news! Second sort is scheduled for the end of September hopefully.

oh, and Please excuse the mess, things have been crazy here lately and I was sorting some stuff, just taking a break from the heat when my curious friends decided to investigate the big coop

You might have to buy some mosquito netting ~ you know the canopy sort that hangs from a hook in the ceiling & is sized for a big bed. It might just do the trick.

That really is all it takes. Open the door and they are in. That is where the strange rooster with the food comes from.

I can't wait to see some house photos when you are done. We miss you but understand and are excited for you.
