I'm allergic to cat hair which doesn't help.
We had a cat when I was a child and although he was a lovely looking creature he liked my bed!!
I've lived in a number of towns and cities and cats yowling at night is almost impossible to sleep through.
My main objection is if one person in the street has a cat then everyone has that cat, and the dug up flower beds and the cat shite and the noise.
Thankfully we don't get many cats here, If the dogs catch one they'll kill it. I've buried a few over the years.

The sun was beautiful tonight and I took a bunch of pictures of the Pretties. I just can't get over how quickly Phoenix's tail is growing. I'm going to post a bunch of pictures, so enjoy!

His tail is literally as long as Violet is!

He was calmly hanging out on my hand, relaxing.

Now in the sun! I really hope the colors pop on the screen as much as they did in person.

Thank you! The pair of them were found wondering around the neighborhood. Since I'm the resident chicken lady, they were brought to me and I just love them.

Sounds like my Lilly. She would go up and down the roost and knock everyone off at night. Since I put in the high roost she goes there and leaves everyone on the big roost alone. Nothing else settled her down. It did not happen every night but when it did everyone was confused by what to do.

Tsuki has been doing a Gandalf on the coop door "You shall not pass! ...except Deana"
I usually go out at bed time to see the younger ones perched on the tree stump outside the coop.

I get them on my wrist and take them across to the coop pop door. If it is dark enough, Tsuki stops pecking.
