We've had a big day too. The man's back has been giving him curry so he had about 6 shots along his spine then a trip to the scan people. I had minor surgery. We both had our annual [& very late] eye tests done & ordered our new glasses. I've ordered thin lenses instead of the coke bottles I've been wearing & much bigger glasses. I hate feeling like I've got small old lady glasses perched on my nose! Chook food yarn & finally home to let the girls out & the cats in. They had a door open but hadn't found it... Now I need coffee, coffee, coffee...

Wow! That was a weeks worth of stuff for us. In one day too. You must have been exhausted.

We were. But we are only on the mainland once a fortnight so everything needs to be done in that time frame. I find both the Drs & the optometrist fairly traumatic But my new glasses will be worth it. For the first time I've actually got frames *I* like.

I love my new frames as well. It is special to get something that you really love. Congratulations. Sometimes we settle. I know too well.

It always good to get that type of stuff out of the way for another year. That's a very busy and tiring day I can totally understand the need for coffee !!

Yes, we've been putting it off & putting it off but the man's hinges have gone so it couldn't be put off any longer.

A lot of help they were! Stuff all over my paths & Alpia always gets in the tubs while I'm trying to fill them. She takes full advantage of her privileges!

I need new glasses. On the bright side, my hinges are okay, it's the lenses that are failing.

Money, money, money... But my eyes are so funny now & the script so peculiar I knew we were going to have to pay for a little extra this time so a little more on top of that was neither here nor there.
