I know Myth has issues but she is such a pretty bird! Fat bird is glorious & Treacle is princely!

I think Myth is pretty to. With regard to human interaction and day to day chicken behaviour she's a dream compared to say Knock. She's a bit highly strung as one is supposed to say these days but sweet enough in disposition.

I don't mind them highly strung. It's the bullies I can't abide.

Wind, rain and requests from Tribe 2 to vacate the bush next to the bread oven.
One short scrap between Cillin and Punch that I saw. Punch backed off and Cillin showed remarkable diplomacy by moving his hens over to the bamboo and then onto my house. He could have stayed and Punch wasn't about to do any more about it. In a strange way I was very proud of Cillin. Anyway, here they are in the house making a mess of the floor. I don't mind. It cleans up easy and they just looked so relaxed.

I've had my share but I prefer a flock without them. There's enough for everyone here. No need for extreme measures.

I couldn't cope with it without the concrete floor. Cecal poop does stain it but a tour with a mop and Oxine makes it clean enough to eat off.

Hey guys! It’s Cicada season again! I have found some absolutely huge cicadas. Maybe the chickens will catch some. There was one at the back door this morning, I saved him from Wilbur lol
