There's a particular yell my lot give if the coop run door has swung shut & they can't get in to the nesting boxes. The Campines don't care. They'll use the hay bales but Luna & the BRs are particular.

I would be lost without mine! I sometimes point it straight up as I find then it is more like having low ambient light and less moving around.

Everyone took themselves to bed last night.
There was a fair bit of to & froing. The little frizzles were anxious to snuggle down for the night but the bigger girls were less enthused by that idea so in & out they went, up & down... eventually Titania, Olivia & Ceres all stayed. The rain forced the next 3 to make a decision but Gloriana & Goneril [the smaller of the 2 Vorwerks] didn't roost till it was dark. I'd had to go back inside but when I came out to check they had actually joined everyone else. Yay!

Yes!!! I did think abought going that route this time but I had so many & had already confused everyone with my Gaelic choices ~ partly because you can spell any name a variety of ways & I kept forgetting which way I'd chosen~ so I decided I'd better not. I will love seeing what name you give to which lovely lady!

I've been fond of the four letter rule. I can always remember four letter words.

Caulk or duct tape.

Not really, Bob. I'm pretty sure the rain's coming in through a gap in an access door & the poop tray ~ & I can hardly close them off. The tarps not real secure but it has done the job.
