None of my chickens want to visit me today. (Their favorite place is under the porch stairs, and that's where they sit.) I even have treats, but nooooooo!

Maybe you need better treats.

We finally got a dry afternoon & I was able to spend some time with the Littlies ! some of whom are no longer so little!
Regan, Portia & Gloriana are all roosting ~ @ least some of the time ~ but even my tiny frizzles are much bigger than they were.

Gloriana was the hennie who stayed with Gonril until I removed her from the coop.
Everyone seems to be well & happy but they are spending an inordinate amount of time inside the coop rather than in the little run. That seems weird to me but perhaps it reminds them of their brooder & they feel safer.

I would not worry about them spending time in the coop. I'm sure they see it as a safe place. After all, you kept putting them there.

I would not worry about them spending time in the coop. I'm sure they see it as a safe place. After all, you kept putting them there.

I did. I'm not dropping the door @ night now they can find their own way in @ night as that's really all the ventilation they have. We have mizzling rain again this morning but I got the big coop cleaned out yesterday afternoon & gave the big girls a bit of a run.

The good news is that having made a right old mess of my bathroom Wrold looks like she can rejoin the flock this afternoon. No bokking & fluffing. No screaming & biting. She has a lovely red face, wattles & comb ~ though whether the flock will be happy to see her remains to be seen.
