Ribh's D'Coopage

I did. :) I'm not dropping the door @ night now they can find their own way in @ night as that's really all the ventilation they have. We have mizzling rain again this morning but I got the big coop cleaned out yesterday afternoon & gave the big girls a bit of a run.

The good news is that having made a right old mess of my bathroom Wrold looks like she can rejoin the flock this afternoon. No bokking & fluffing. No screaming & biting. She has a lovely red face, wattles & comb ~ though whether the flock will be happy to see her remains to be seen. 🙄
That is most excellent news. It is time she was back to her old self. Good job!

Thanks, Bob. :) It is! I'm so relieved. She wasn't eating properly, not really dustbathing or grooming & I really wasn't happy about any of it. Her dedication & determination were phenomenal!

It is one thing to be dedicated and determined and another to do it right. Hearing your stories and @MaryJanet stories makes me even more impressed with Sydney. She knew what to do on her own with no help from anyone. I just made certain that she had feed available and she did the rest. Really amazing.

Sydney was super!!! All mine want to stick to the nest like glue. 🙄 I thought Mhari was bad but Wrold takes the cake, hands down! She's the only one of mine that gets really fierce. Good thing she's a small hen!

Indeed. It is amazing how they each behave differently.

Maleficent really scared me when she came after me that time. It would have really hurt had she connected. Sydney was completely different but I never messed with Sydney on the nest unless absolutely necessary. That was great advice from @Shadrach
