Leghorns are white. Ask any Italian from Tuscany. Just because a bunch of Americans decided that they would accept different colours and different shapes doesn't mean shit. I've had a similar discussion regarding Marans. There are no Black Copper Marans in Marans. There are black Marans and that's it. Don't tell anyone though because they get upset.And this marks the point at which I am officially giving up any attempt to understand chicken breeds. Yep, it's confusing. I go by the breed originally bred in the country of origin. I don't really care what various bodies who show and judge have to say about it.

On your topic of leghorns, I started out with Isabella Leghorns, the lavender ones. Way too much work to maintain the color so I sold my last breeding pair.
