They are growing up quickly. Olivia is going to be super adorable.

I've very pleased with this latest bunch. They are super chill as well as really pretty & have melded well.

Just marvelous. They know and care for you. Like talking to you. Good friends.

They are. They have missed me spending time with them but the weather is not being conducive to large amounts of outdoor time. They herded me to the feed bin & supervised feeding operations! Less rowdy than usual but rather more dangerous as everyone was underfoot.

Intestineal lining was one thought I'd had. Never having actually seen it I couldnt say.

I didn’t realize that a chicken could pass intestinal lining. That doesn’t sound healthy.

That falls within the normal range of things. So many normal chicken things are just gross.

Not yet. I've been babysitting on the mainland & running chicken chores since I've been home. I'm exhausted & trying to balance what is basically 2 flocks in pretty awful weather. We haven't had a really dry day in weeks ~ which is good for the garden & the dams, but hard on my chookies. Still something is better than nothing, right?

I feel your pain. We’ve had rain rain rain, and the yard is flooded, my run is muddy. Ugh. I hate when this happens and it happens a lot.
Happily, the coop is always nice and dry inside.
