Ribh's D'Coopage

I will be interested to hear the report on Medh. That is a little concerning.

She's not been what I'd call quite right from when she started laying but has stayed pretty much the same so I haven't been overly concerned, just monitoring. I don't think it's good, whatever is going on, but like people hens can live ok with varying degrees of disability & she seems happy enough.

Why is everyone so sensitive? I don't understand. This doesn't seem angry to me. It feels warm and fuzzy. I feel so attacked just because I like red. :(
Red, purple, and teal are all favorite colors of mine, but I like black or Blue ink for the body of a text, and corrections in red. And just think if you were already upset by a mistake you made and someone decided to comment about what you did wrong thinking it was one thing when it was actually the exact opposite, and then in middle goes this is a classic example of such and such mistake and that’s what killed all those chickens you were hatching. It’s not the color so much, as the context; and so many of us are used to corrections or feedback being done in a red pen on papers I think.

Our first lot of tadpoles have all morphed into striped marsh frogs tok~toking away happily in our yard.

Our next lot of eggs is under way.

And this little lady is out in the big run on her own because I found her hogging other people's eggs again this morning! 🙄
*sigh* My mother is going to have to wait while I sort this.

I'm sorry. You don't have a dog crate, right?

No. :( But I have a big box & she's in that @ present because when I went to check she had hopped the fence & disappeared. I called & called & she eventually came looking for treats & cuddles. Instead I scooped her up & dragged her inside. I've lost 1 broody hen. Not about to lose another if I can help it.

You need to do this. I know it feels mean but you must break her now.
