If you could set up a barrel with a water nipple bar...it works great and the water stays nice and clean! I hate dirty water, but they just can't seem to help themselves...look clean water, let's kick some dirt into it and while we're at it lets poop in it!I wish I could come up with a fool proof way of keeping their water clean.It's so gross so fast!
Just like a little kid running up and tugging on a pant leg only to realize in alarm...you're not my dad...I think we have full integration. There is no squawking from the hen house this morning & Olivia even hopped up on a stump beside Hepzibah until she realised she'd got one of the Big Girls by mistake!This is good news as I think Alpia is going broody on me ~ Again!
~ & now I have the little coop free again she will find herself in exile if she doesn't smarten up!
I am super happy with how this has gone. I was worried as the Littlest are so very little but it's Regan the Big Girls usually go for & I suspect that's because she's a more mature hen. Everyone seems to know the babies are still babies; even my big fluffy sooks, Portia & Gloriana aren't pecked much & when they are they back down fast.
I'm so glad that it's gone so well! 
Integration can be so nerve wracking! I'm not sure when I will be getting my new chicks, but at some point I will need to drag hubs away from the kitchen remodel to help enclose the space I want for the mini coop!
Let me know how that goes. There are you tube videos of people doing this with their cats but I can't imagine doing it with either of mine. They are not into adventuring...

That's the 2nd time in a few days I've worried someone with my emoji. No, I know they don't really get it but it's the most disgusting habit & chickens have quite a few to choose from!
