Ribh's D'Coopage

I love my home. I consider any day away from it a wasted day. :( Ok, I know I have the view to die for but everything [nearly] I care about is there: cats, chickens, good books & coffee. Sometimes there's even chocolate... :lau
I feel the same about my house. It really helps that I have great friends on the same street too.

My washing machine is only doing cold wash right now and I wanted to do a load on warm yesterday. So I ask the neighbours, no worries! Then we were having tea while waiting for the load to finish and I was casually invited back to dinner, no big deal. Whenever one household dines with the other, we always wave goodbye at the gate and say, "take care on the road, arrive home safely!" :gigwe're only four houses apart! The joke never ages!

That in itself will be a challenge for me. I tend to read fast then go back & reread as needful. And I am already challenged as I very rarely read sequentially! :gigI'd forgotten about that. 🤔 Hmmm....Bear with me people. Your biggest challenge could be me! 😆
I think your perspectives are going to be delightful! I reckon she'd salute your preference for doing it your own way!

I'm a bit of a plodder but my thoughts range over lots of different topics, some of which I will struggle to describe.

😆 😆 😆 And I go off on all sorts of tangents. 🙄 I sometimes make some really odd connections.

Oh good thought.

Why would other folks want to see our chatter about a book they're not reading.
Works for me if I can figure how. But I have used the pm function before so I will probably figure it out ok.

I feel the same way. Covid lockdown has got rid of all the travel I used to do and I could not be happier being home. I would love to know I could travel if I wanted to, but mainly I prefer staying here.

I do sequential just fine but I do tend to race and then go back. I am a notorious re-reader which is why libraries have never worked for me because you have to return the book!
I am sure with patience for each other we will manage just fine.
I am excited to do this!

I wish I had the time to join you ladies...I've never done this before, so I don't know if I would add much, but I think it would be so much fun! :love

It is always fun to do more difficult authors with others. Usually someone else manages the spots you find hard & you, in your turn, help with the bits you find easy. And sometimes it doesn't matter. Some authors will never work for you.

I'm a rereader too ~ which is why my personal library is rather large. 😆 Yes, patience & tolerance... not my greatest virtues but I can but try. ;)
