Ribh's D'Coopage

My problem is, there are a LOT of lovely chickens on my want list. I need a whole barn for a coop!
Tell me about it! I am whittling down the ones I really love now though. 😁

Yes, I'm a bass fan. My cousin is a mezzo soprano & to me operatic soprano is like nails down a chalk board. Not a fan @ all.
Definitely.
Agreed, soprano is not my favorite either.
It is rare to get a soprano who doesn't screeeech on their top notes. My favorite is Emma Kirkby who has a bell like quality to her voice and I've just discovered So Hyang in the last week.
Emma starts around 1:43

So Hyang, this is in Korean on stage with orchestra and everything.

Of course, neither of them sing opera. 😁

@Aussie-Chookmum : I ran into this lady recently. Never heard of her before & I'm not overly fussed on a lot of her stuff but I do like this one.

What a smooth voice. I love acoustic guitar and harmonies. Thank you for sharing Ribh.

I like Autumn ~ & I especially appreciate the sunrises. ;) I should not spoil your spring. :hugs
Autumn is my faaaaavourite season. 🤗
The smell and freshness of the air, the high blue sky and scudding clouds, the crisp wind after muggy summer. It's just, just.....🥰

Yes, she reminded me of Joan Baez too ~ though the tone & timbre of her voice is quite different. Baez has that very clear crystalline soprano & quite distinctive. I've been listening to some Sinead folk ~ very lovely~ recently & read people raving about her voice but for me she's not a patch on Mama Cass or Baez.
I just listened to Kate Wolf singing "Close to You". Very gentle and pretty.
