Thanks, Shad. I was lucky with this one. She turned nicely for me & the light just gave her a wonderful glow. The Man loves this one. He thinks she's wonder chook. I'm a little more reserved in my liking. She's developing a mean streak.

Her sisters. I thought I'd been overly lucky with this lot. It just took a while for the pecking order to really kick in & Gloriana is definitely top of the heap & determined to stay there. Olivia is hysterical. She reminds me of lots of youngest children I've known. She just takes what she wants & assumes it's fine & she'll get away with it.

Are the others venomous?

Nope. The only venomous snake here is the adder and they are very shy. I've seen on in ten years!

Well, I guess someone has to be at the top...hopefully she'll settle into the role & realize she doesn't have to be so mean to stay there! And hopefully that's not wishful thinking..lol

The only poisonous snakes we have here are rattlesnakes. They are usually only in rocky areas but you could actually encounter them anywhere. I've never seen any near our home!

We're Aussies & nearly all our snakes are poisonous. Some are more deadly than others but we get everything from Browns [nasty & aggressive] to small eyed [which the cats play with]

Yeah, I've heard that, just crazy! One good thing about a rattlesnake is they give you some warning before striking, sometimes not enough time...but they try...lol!
