Thanks, MJ. She's bright & alert but I don't think we are making too much headway with what ails her. More worms this morning. More watery poops ~ though that may be the antibiotics. More blood in her poop. At least the worms are dead! She doesn't like the Baycox so that is an issue. Her left eye has lesions all round from the fowl pox & is bothering her. She will be going back to the vet as soon as I can organise it & we will have a discussion about how best to proceed.
It is a virus. So no antibiotic unless the lesions get infected with bacteria. You'd think antibiotics would treat pox. I wonder why there's no treatment for it.
I don't know MJ. I think there's a vaccine but it's not a cure all either. Cere's is on antibiotics so if they help, she's got it. At least it's the dry stuff ~ unpleasant & itchy but not lethal. You'd think antibiotics would treat pox. I wonder why there's no treatment for it.
Thanks, RC. Good to have a scientist around. It is a virus. So no antibiotic unless the lesions get infected with bacteria.
What a stretch!
Does she have a Beakbook account?Ceres enjoying some BYC time.

Snakes are cool!MJ & Shadrach! There was a name with the picture of the snake. It's an Elaphe sclararis or Ladder Snake...non-venemous! I was curious too!
