Woohoo! I'm glad you got enough nice weather to effect a move. This is very good. They look thrilled!

I had to shove them in the coop last night. Waiting to see if they find their own way downstairs this morning.

They really are beautiful ladies. That's also one sharp looking GLW you have there as well. I love the black and white flower that is growing in the coop as well.

Yesterday was the first time I've really got to spend any time with them. I feel bad about it ~ especially as they are having a roughish integration.

So do I. I had trouble convincing her to roost last night. She kept landing on me. She is a very people oriented chicken.

They are growing on me. They are very sweet natured & smart! The man is smitten with them.

I know what you are going through. We got just got over the rainy season from hell! I thought it would never end.
It’s so hard to manage the coop and the birds with all the puddles and mud. Not to mention three big dogs.
I hope your area dries out soon!

To say nothing of the extra washing & drying & the house feeling damp. I don't bother with a rain jacket when it's like that. They don't help & it's an extra layer dripping somewhere & they smell so bad when they've been wet for a while. The man even lit a fire to dry the air out somewhat. At least all the water has soaked in here.

Happy Coffee Klatch Wednesday Wherever! I have to use this mug today, I was awake for almost 21 hours yesterday & was pretty wiped out by the time I could finally fall asleep...you're all wondering why I'm sharing this info? My husband let me sleep in & when I finally woke up and went into the kitchen I found my mug sitting by the hot water pot with a teabag in it waiting to be filled!
