Lovely to see! Our puddles on the paving have dried up though parts of the grass are still very squelchy. I think the girls are much happier being able to poke around the garden instead of huddling under tables.

I'm glad to see that you're drying out too! I just can't imagine dealing with the rain you all get! Your girls look very happy!

I miss Tsuki. I always look for her.

I miss her too, although I am bound to say that the tribe is calmer without her.

There are no roosting contretemps and the feathers on Edwina's feet seem to be growing back. There are no bloody feather stumps there anymore.

So, while I am enjoying a stress free flock, I still miss Tsuki too.

He's a French Black Copper Marans! I have 2 of them, I love them. His name is Maximus...the other is Marquis!

Oh, I get it! My flock is gentler without Lavender. She was a mean feather picker & all my girls are nearly all fully feathered again without her bum plucking!

So far, they have been pretty mellow & friendly...I thought Marquis was challenging me the other day, but I realized later that he was just trying to herd me around...Maximus did the same today...I just walked through them & they figured out that I'm still the head rooster. Lol!
