Ribh's D'Coopage

It might be lovely but she really can't ~ not in the way she'd like anyway. I opened the gate this morning & Olivia was 1st out & straight underfoot to eye the jump from the ground to my shoulder. I think she'd be quite happy to be a house chicken & an only child. 🙄
Yes, I'm certain she would love to be an only child...with your undivided attention! :love

All caught up I see...:lau
I decided to make one post instead of making a whole page of them! :D Now if I can catch up on Bob's, Debby's and hopefully eventually get back to MJ's! I'm afraid, I've just been to much of a Gaddabout... ;) :gig :love Oh yes and kitchen remodeler! :D

I've always kept an eye out for those lower down the pecking order ~ particularly the little ones. That's changed as the flock has changed & with all the wet I haven't been sitting with my girls. I need to do that again & make sure everything is operating smoothly & no~one is badly missing out.

Meg :hugs I'm so happy you decided to join in. Your chick is totally adorable!

I love my little feather dusters but frizzles don't regulate their body temp as well as other chickens. We've been quite torrential & I've had to bring them in & dry them off. They get sodden. Much wetter than any of my other girls.

The jury is still out on the Vorwerks. They're not my choice & I'm not real sure about them yet. They seem sweet enough but their daftness is scary. When I opened the gate this morning all the girls charged out except the Vorwerks. They sat on their stump & watched the charge disdainfully. As soon as they had the pen to themselves they took off crashing into the wire all over the place, & doing some really dangerous stunts. Mad. You'd never believe it watching them with the rest where they are quiet, calm & restrained.
I would think if they are Mad, then they fit in perfectly with the rest of your flock...:gig

It's been a crazy year for you! Hopefully life will slow down a bit and you will get the much needed time with them! :love

My other girls are mad lunatics ~ eccentric mad. This lot are plain daft. They know there's a roof & walls but they take off flying full tilt & crash about the pen. I'm worried someone will break her neck with their antics. :( They really enjoy free ranging but I'm not convinced they're all that cluey.

That's definitely a different sort of mad! Hopefully they will get it figured out before they injure themselves! They've only been around since the 90's, but somehow they've been able to survive!
