Ribh's D'Coopage

Did you install that just for the cats?

Is this a spice I have never heard of?
Comfrey is a herb, not a spice. It's used for wounds & bones. My man used to ride bikes & he grew it for that. I've heard it called Healall & Knitbone but I've always been told it's not to be taken internally.

Actually, Shad's witch may know quite a bit about it. It's very old.

Comfrey? It's a herb. The juice from the roots is supposed to be good for bruises (externally). You can make a poultice of the leaves for skin ailments too.

It is good for adding richness to your compost too I've heard.

The leaves are a bit hairy/prickly but that doesn't seem to bother the chooks.

Thanks, it is not something I have ever come across. So humans do not eat but chickens do. Interesting.

🤣
Yes they love being up high too so they can look down on us mere humans.

We did have a floor to ceiling cat tower but the shelves take up a lot less room.
We used to have a cat tower so well. Perhaps my cats would like some shelves. 🤔

I think you can but it's supposed to be really bad for the liver.
I'm not interested in eating it but thanks for the warning. I do find it interesting how chickens can safely digest things we cannot. The biology is fascinating.
