I see the frizzles have engaged a marketing consultant to change their image from feather duster to armored warrior.
I think this will only work to a degree.

Happy Koffee Klatch where ever Wednesday! It's already too hot for me outside, so I'm taking my coffee inside.

Here's a picture of some update chicken decor. After my foot injury, we stopped at a yard sale that had a large amount of chicken stuff. Rich felt so bad he let me buy it all.

What did I miss ? Foot injury, what happened to you?

About a month ago, Rich and I were moving a gun safe, about 300lbs, and it slipped landing on my foot. initial x-rays said no break just severe bruising. Repeat x-rays a week later, showed a compression fracture of my 2nd metatarsal.






The first picture was the next day. The last picture I today. I can't completely bend my big toe, but I can finally wear a shoe without pain.

Here's Cappy in all his rumpless glory! He's getting dome lovely green and mahogany feathers in his puff.

Only Cappy is missing from this picture.

These are the nuggets. They are mad at me because I plugged their escape hole and now they can not come and go as they please. I'm sure the gold one is a girl. I know the middle silver chick is a boy, the other silver chick I think is female, but I'm still waiting to be sure.
