Now you understand why my drainage ditches take so long to finish. Imagine what you have there and trying to make sure there is pitch in the trench so water flows away when I lay pipe. It is impossible with all the help I get!Should have seen this one coming.
That's is or was the carefully dug trench into which I buried the skirt for the fence.
It's been dry and the soil is now, according to this lot anyway, perfect for dust bathing.
I'll fill the holes back in later I suppose.

I would definitely avoid an angry Wrold.The shed is plenty big enough for 20 chickens but everyone is still really pleased to be let out in the morning.

I have thrown all my broodies off their nests & temporarily shut the shed doors. I will have to open up later so everyone can lay or I'll be egg hunting through the yard!
This lot were giving Ceres some gentle pecks to bring her out of her trance. I thought this was interesting as they left Wrold strictly alone.
