We had a bin chicken land in the yard this morning.​

Would a hawk be less likely to bother the song birds if the feeder is hung up under the porch roof outside Eowyn's window? It seems to me they wouldn't be able to "stoop " if there is a roof in the way.

They take budgies in their cage hung under verandah eaves round here. :(
