You spelled it right and I have no idea how to pronounce it - not the kind of word that often comes up in casual conversation.
It is a fascinating field though.

I was @ a high tea this afternoon so everybody got fed late. That is Sif @ the bottom of the picture. She is starting to join in the food rush though still expecting hers to arrive separately ~ which it does ~ but just the fact she is prepared to join the throng & jostle for her place warms my heart. She is such a determined girl!.
