Ribh's D'Coopage

You're right ~ which is why we are still going round in circles on this one. :hmm I don't know what the answer is. Shad's thread is galloping away too & that is one thread I do try to stay up to date on because it is mostly so informative,
I'm trying to slow it down a bit. It took off at a volume I wasn't expecting:th

Not meant to
Bob.:hugs Shad has us all nicely intimidated so we stay on track. 🤣 yours is a friendly & social thread & a little overwhelming for a confirmed introvert. There's lots of good stuff on your thread. Finding it can be difficult.
Did I just make things worse...?
That is a truely awful assessment of my tax demands.:lau

My publishing unit has suggested we all need to start a glossary for all the new technical words we are about to encounter but so far my vocab has been adequate for that. It is archaeology that made me do a double take. Up until told otherwise I had assumed mead was a sweet fermented honey wine & wick was something attached to a candle. I couldn't have been more wrong! 🤣 A cursory google search was no help either & autocorrect assumed I wanted drones. :he A dictionary eventually solved the problem down amongst the dead OE :gig
I knew Wick. Eastwick (The Witches of Eastwick for example)

I've been told by a number of successful artists that you have to want to make money. The whole marketing business I find difficult and a bit distastfull. Many people who make some wondeful things fail financially because what they are really interested in is the art; the money is secondary if important at all.
I want to be earning more money so I don’t have to stress about it, but I don’t understand why people just aren’t throwing it at me! :lau

I know I already posted for Caturday, but that was for Australian Caturday and now it is US Caturday.
I broke out the big step ladder because it is more stable for changing the lightbulbs on the kitchen ceiling.
As I balanced on the step this little guy thought he would show me how it is done using the other side of the ladder. The one without real steps.

But he soon discovered a step is kinda useful and accidentally put his foot out into thin air.

In spite of his attempt to grab on with his tail, he had to admit defeat and jump off. It is always amazing to me how twisty a cat’s spine is - they really are contortionists!

Happy Caturday everyone.
Did you get a photo of that bit when you dropped the light bulb because you were busy trying to take pictures of the cat falling off the ladder?:p

@MaryJanet and I went back and forth on PM and I think have worked out a system that is working for her. Basically she follows the people whose posts she is interested in and rather than 'to the 'watched threads' she bookmarks that individual's profile and sees where they have posted.
MJ - did I describe it right? And is it still working for you?
Yes you did and yes, it works well!
