Reminds me of that old advert on the telly "you're soaking in it!"Erm, what is technosocial?![]()
He was lifting the technosocial out of and away from time. It was nifty!I sort of get it. It fits with the *time is an artificial construct* theory ~ which I probably don't understand as I think it's wrong. We have day & night. We have Summer, Autum, Winter, Spring in an endless cycle. They all mark the passage of time while circling back to the beginning.
Yes, I think that is what the *time is an artifical construct* would argue. I can see why you will enjoy philosophy. These sort of arguements make my head ache. I was listening to something with Stephen Fry & Jordan Peterson discussing philosophers I've never even heard of, let alone read! Honestly... never read philosophy. It does my head in. I think they had irreconcilable world views but were arguing like it was all a lovely jigsaw if only they could make all the pieces fit.He was lifting the technosocial out of and away from time. Time is the way we measure the passing of events just like the metre is the way we measure distance.I sort of get it. I'm not getting an answer then...Reminds me of that old advert on the telly "you're soaking in it!"
Yeh, I don't like arguments that oppress alternative views instead of engaging them.Yes, I think that is what the *time is an artifical construct* would argue. I think they had irreconcilable world views but were arguing like it was all a lovely jigsaw if only they could make all the pieces fit.Such a nice change from the *Your truth, my truth* brigade who don't have the 1st idea about having a civil discussion, let alone a civil debate.

It's anything social facilitated by technology (these days, usually social media), like BYCI'm not getting an answer then...
Oh, a letter then. It's anything social facilitated by technology (these days, usually social media), like BYC
It's got that culture stuff man, like you know, old buildings and pictures painted on stuff. It's like super cool an there's a ton of rubble to check out. Why's that? I've always had a sort of aversion to the Romans ~ all that conquering of the barbarians. On the other hand there is all that wonderful Renaisance Art...So what about Rome do you think I'd particularly like...?
