I found that by accident yesterday. It's from 2 years ago. I have so many I think I'm starting to lose track of the special ones

I have the same problem. I had a picture sort out a few months ago. Now I've got hundreds from the allotment crew.

It's a weird association I agree. I think MJ just meant Shad was engaging socialy with her via the internet & that was technosocial even if he didn't realise it ~ though I suspect he did & is just being a funny bunny.

She's really hard to get a good picture of. Nowhere near Portia's size. She still looks half grown but she's not. She's all grown up. @BY Bob, if you look closely you can see she has those weird wing feathers too.​

I've spent a considerable amount of time arguing with my family members about using language which they either do not understand the meaning of, or use for the purpose of obfuscation/ego bolstering.
One of the answers I get is language is dynamic and the meanings change.
This is a classic misuse of the word dynamic. Language does change but it is a slow process.
Some precision in language is important so when we use a word we all know what we are talking about.
When for example I read something like "I had a ton of work to do" on this forum I'm often tempted to ask if they are talking about a metric or imperial ton, or if they have calculated the number of tasks and they added up to exactly one hundred.
Social science has a habit of adopting scientific words and then distorting their meaning.

There is the question of context. Slang in a social setting is one thing but it is not acceptable in a technical or academic setting where language must be quite precise. I admit to enjoying & using slang in everyday communications but if I am presenting an argument or arguing a case I am very pedantic. You have to be. Meaning does not change so the use of careful language is important.

In the UK the word "like" has become a fashionable interjection.
I was listening to a group of students chatting on the train the other day.
One girls monologue went something like this.
"I told him it was like wow and like he shouldn't say things like that. I mean like, what on earth was he like thinking. I wouldn't say those things, maybe like a bit like less critical." It went on and on in this manner.
As I prepared to disembark I stopped by this groups seat and asked if this person meant it was a close approximation to, or very similar to, or exactly identical to and got off the train.
