I went out and visited my friend today while she was busy at work trying to be a Mum again.

It's funny how when they are not around you miss them.

We had a cold sun today.
The girls found somewhere to dustbathe.​

And Chavi has taken to laying her egg on top of the BBQ.

Meanwhile, watching the Japs scuttle across the lawn is one of the simple joys of life.

That is a lot of jumping with no real wings to use. Impressive.

It is a very bendy tree. I just pull the branch down until I Can encourage her to step onto my arm. So far she hasn't gone so high I can't reach her.

It is impressive @BY Bob. The 1st jump must be quite difficult.

You have put your finger on it Bob - moving from being a drag to being fun and exciting. That is what it should be!

The archaeology was always fun ~ though not quite what I was expecting and really difficult in spots. The writing stuff was just incredibly dry.
