She looks wonderful in the golden light Bob.
She was angry with me for going in to make tea so she got up on the table to look in. The first morning sun caught her and so I grabbed the phone. It came out wonderful. She looks wonderful in the golden light Bob.
I'm sorry you had such a poor experience. Some of you may find this post a little controversial. Feel free to skip over it.
As many of you know I babysit grandkids one day a week. GD is in daycare the other days & as we all know, where little kids are, germs abound. The kid shared her cold ~ & yes folks, it is a cold! However I had a Drs appointment booked & was advised I needed to do a RAT test before coming in. I spun the poor receptionist right out by asking her what a RAT test was because I stopped listening to Covid news over a year ago. I was sort of informed... sort of, so looked it up on line & spun out. Sticking anything that far up my nose was never happening! Nope. Zippo. Zilch. Rang the Dr back to cancel & got more information. I could do a spit test so off to the chemist I dutifully trotted but I'm fuming because I paid good money to be told something I already knew; I don't have covid!
And no, I'm not vaccinated. That is not ever happening either. I'm even more of a hermit than Shad is.
Depending on your world view I either have great natural immunity (as people all around me have caught this stupid bug) or I have supernatural protection: A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Psalm 91:7. Personally I believe in supernatural protection.
So I walked home the extra long way which passes this paddock. And what is so special about this paddock, you might ask? It is chockas with milk thistle. My girls love milk thistles so several times a week I trot along up here & pick a big bagful. It is always totally gone within a couple of hours. So not a completely wasted morning.

If you look closely you can see Shuri up her tree.
I must try this milk thistle stuff for the chickens. I don't even know if it grows in the UK.Some of you may find this post a little controversial. Feel free to skip over it.
