Ribh's D'Coopage

@RC If you are interested I had my first Archaeology of death & Human Osteology today. The textbook is rather dry but the first lecturer was terrific & looked @ it as I've always seen it ~ an insight into the living. And she touched on just about everything that has fascinated me about This aspect of archaeology: gravegoods, different types of burial rites, how women & children were buried differently, how religious belief informs burial rites & why rites sometimes change over time. Most importantly she asked the question that has always fascinated me: Why did they do that? I am really looking forward to the first tutorial tomorrow. 😀 What she'll have to say about some of the Neolithic burial sites should be fascinating.
I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Exciting!

My head count was minus one tonight.
I double checked the coop then scoured the yard.
Then I called. Not that I think Chavi knows her name but she knows I look for her each evening. On my 3rd circuit I noticed movement in the mondo grass, then a little black head popped up as if to say: You looking for me?

I am so very excited for you. You are getting to learn what you wanted to. What a nice development.

Well @Ribh I think you jinxed me. Guess who violated my trust and jumped over the fence today.

Bad enough, right?

Then when I went out to get her, she ran from me. Not a smart move.

When I finally gathered her up, I used the mother cat grip, scruff of the neck, and brought her the house.

Someone got the message. She has not even asked to go out the remainder of the day. Instead she has been curled up next to my computer all day. I have not seen this much of her in weeks.

By the way, it is not easy to carry a 20lb cat by the scruff of the neck.

Wow, Bob. I feel your pain. Kirby isn't allowed out here without a leash. He does tend to wander & even leashed he went up a tree & was looking to go over a fence. Is it collar time or is she grounded for the time being?
