Ribh's D'Coopage

:hugs Sorry you lost your lost the chick.
I know it’s not always easy to provide a safe and healthy environment.
Yep. Given time & distance I'll probably gird my loins & try again but I do think I need a maternity coop before that happens.
Sounds good es especially in a hostile environment.

Just sparing you a thought :hugs
Me too @Ribh . :hugs
Thanks, guys! 🧡 The chick has picked up but I am missing India this morning & I found Ha'penny hanging upside down in the coop, her spurs snagged on something. She is limping but otherwise seems ok. India, I have no idea. There is no sign of predation & if a snake had got into the coop I can't see how it could have got out again with India inside. The best I can hope for is I miscounted when I locked up last night [I removed the chick & smallest bantams, so things were a tad chaotic] & she is sitting on a hidden nest somewhere as I haven't seen an egg from her in a while. This has been a really depressing few weeks & I'm not sure where to go from here.

@BYBob, @MaryJanet @LozzyR
Normally I check everyone just as the sun goes down, & sometimes again before I go to bed but we had massive storms happening here last night so I opted to stay put. So glad she's turned up ok!
:wee
Good girl, India!! Keeping herself safe, what a legend!
