Over the last month 2 new hens have been added.
I was asked to take Pearl because she kept invading the house & as they are renovating & minus walls there was no way to keep her out. I asked for a 2nd hen so she had a running mate.

Pearl is supposed to be a Cochin but she looks more like an Australorp bantam to me.​

Brandy is supposed to be Cobweb's mother but she looks far more like Mustard Seed. As you can probably tell I didn't name either of these hens, though Brandy may become Brandywine. It seems to suit her better.​

And Cobweb is sitting. I have given her 4 eggs from the nest Tootsie hid next door. If she's going to sit she might as well sit on something.​

Happy Caturday. All 3 cats at once! I've been remodeling our basement and this morning all 3 inspectors arrived.

Our newest regular visitor (neighbour cat) who loves the yoghurt leftover I gave the chickens.

Picks of Wrold's chick. It looks like she is going to make it - over 8 weeks now- so I have named her Anix [a form of Anise].

She looks like she might be Wrold's or Alpia's with that lacing but some of Henry's colouring coming through.​

She is nearly as big as Chavi or Tootsie & much more independent, though still sticking pretty close to mum.​
