I can not find any independent collaboration of this fact. I find a half dozen hits all from sites strongly biased towards the use of pendulums and the occults.
If this was a fact, one would think there would be more info on it. If this happened in 1959 as you say it would seem logical we would be using pendulums to track aircraft instead of radar.
I remain skeptical but I do have an open mind, I just need more than a couple articles on the internet by biased people.
I think this is an urban legend at best.
I also find it highly doubtful, if the event happened , the navy would say to Vernon, By Golly, you got it right you found all ours subs and all the Russian ones too.........
I know enough about the military to know they would bot have confirmed the existence of a sub, if you saw it with both your eyes right in front of you,,,
So,,,, Still color me a skeptic...
