Ringneck dove offspring color question

I don't personally own the doves but my sister does, but i am very interested in them! So, momma dove is all white and daddy dove is brown and white. They had a baby... and he/she is black! They've had babies in the past and they all turned out to be brown with the typical black ring around their neck. Can anyone tell me how they had a black baby?
