Yesterday, we discovered our tiny little Bantam Rooster dead on the ground of our quail house. I don't have a clue as to what he died of. There was no sign of trauma, no intrusion to the pen, and he acted perfectly normal up until the night he passed. Maybe it was old age?? I really don't know how old he was. We didn't have him very long, maybe only a month, but he was our favorite! He was sooo friendly and always stood guard to the hens who were setting.
