My worst experience with an electric fence was long ago when one of my horses decided to rub the fence with me in between her and the fence,, we both got fried!

I've only been zapped once and it was as a kid my older brother grabbed my hand then grabbed the fence. Jerk!

Btw I mentioned doing at swap to NE feed and the unofficial consensus is they would probably be ok with it if they knew people would actually show up. I was told they used to do a swap behind their building but it was years ago.
