RIR Acting Lethargic - Please help

You're doing all you can for her. Sometimes the treatment fails, but it in no way means you've failed. It's small comfort when we lose a patient, but focus on the fact that you turned over every rock and jumped through every hoop to help your hen. We won't give up the fight just yet, though. She may end up surprising us all.

We tried tube feeding her some more, she was wrapped up snugly, and we were holding the tube securely but when. we got about 30ml in, she suddenly lurched and threw up the tube, including a big portion of the food. We feel pretty bad, not sure what we did wrong. Thank you so much for your support.

That happens. It just means she had all that would fit in her crop and the reaction is normal when the crop can hold no more.

You need to carefully monitor the crop and not try to tube anything more into her until the crop empties.

If her crop isn't emptying, it's one more sign that she's failing, sad to say.
