RIR Acting Lethargic - Please help

Thanks. Increase that to twice a day for now. Any improvement in appetite? Do you have grits by any chance? Oatmeal will do. I cook up a little grits and stir a soft boiled or sunny-side up fried egg into the cereal. It usually temps the worst appetite. Serve warm for added appeal.
We cooked some oatmeal and added egg. We ended up scrambling the egg and mixing it in. And... she’s eating it! Yay!

It's disappointing that she isn't showing any improvement. And it's not a good sign. If a sick chicken has the capacity to get well, there is usually some sign of improvement as you progress with treatment. The breathing issue also isn't encouraging and could indicate the beginning of organ shutdown.

I'm sorry that sounds clinical and dry. But it's necessary to assess things and prepare for things not working out. Some things simply cannot be treated. Like with some human patients, sometimes the disease is going to win.
I had a pullet with the similar symtoms: lost appetite, slow at empty crop, weak, had difficulty to breath at the last day. I did corid, syringe feed, and antibiotics treatment. Nothing worked. She died when I went to pick her up for vet visit. Necropsy showed she had two types of cancer caused by Marek's and other unknown reasons. I couldn't win the battle anyway. But these symtoms can be caused by so many different illness, and some are indeed treatable. All we can do is to try our best. I wish Lemon-Drop would have better luck with her girl.
