Okay, thank you so much for clarifying!Green poop generally means a chicken isn't eating . The green stuff is bile. It indicates the liver doesn't have anything else to metabolize.
How is out patient? Any change?
That makes so much sense! I don't have any Gatoraid, but I do have a thing called "Save A Chick Electrolytes" right now...I think they're meant for chicks, but do you think it may work until I get some Gatoraid? I also have Nuun tablets, something you dissolve in the water that also has electrolytes.Panting often means the chicken is very stressed. Do you have any Gatoraid on hand? I would try giving her electrolytes just a couple ounces. It might help relieve some stress she's experiencing that may have to do with her chemistry being out of kilter.
Alright, that makes sense! Thank you so much!Any electrolytes will work. I usually mention Gatoraid because it's so easy and chickens like it. When I work outside and it's hot, I drink Gatoraid and my chickens all mob me for their taste. I pour it in the lid and they take turns sipping it. Even the roosters crowd in for their sip.
